Empowering every child in Eswatini with care, education, and opportunity from the very start.
Established to address the growing need for coordinated early childhood efforts in Eswatini, SNECI plays a pivotal role in advancing Early Childhood Care, Development, and Education (ECCDE) across the nation. Recognizing that the early years (ages 0–8) form the foundation of a child’s holistic development, the organization focuses on enhancing the quality of early learning through advocacy, information sharing, capacity building, and stakeholder coordination.
Our work is deeply rooted in the belief that investing in early childhood is investing in Eswatini’s future. By promoting better policies, mobilizing communities, and supporting professional development, SNECI contributes to national and global efforts to prioritize early childhood development as a cornerstone of human capital growth and social transformation.
At the heart of SNECI’s mission is a strong commitment to advocating for the rights and well-being of young children in Eswatini. The organization champions policies, programs, and investments that strengthen Early Childhood Care, Development, and Education (ECCDE) across all sectors.
Through policy dialogue, stakeholder engagement, and evidence-based campaigns, SNECI works to influence decision-makers at national and community levels. The goal is to ensure that ECCDE remains a priority in Eswatini’s social and economic development agenda.
By coordinating and building the capacity of non-state actors — including NGOs, educators, and caregivers — SNECI empowers communities to play an active role in shaping and sustaining quality early childhood services for all children, regardless of their background.
